AUTHORS YOU SHOULD READ MORE OF
IN MY OPINION
1. GEORGE MACDONALD.a Scottish preacher George Macdonald's Christan based Fantsy is delightful drawing you into a closer delve into how christ's love works, even when we think it may be wrong,
The princess and the Goblin teaches you to Trust and believe in God even when it may seem Unreal Or just plain hard.
The princess and Curdie, teaches you not to trust the outward appearances, and also to judge wisely.
At the back Of the North wind, is very theological, and presents the ideas of what really is bad and good, and how God can be Good when there are Painful things in the world. It shows us that even things we would call terrible atrocities Can't make God Bad. it also shows the effect that one small good person can have to change the hearts of even the hardest person.
2. C.S LEWIS
C.S Lewis is the next generation along with George Macdonald, In fact, His Salvation began after reading George MacDonald's Phantastes.
The screwtape letters are one of my personal favourites, they are witty and poignant getting across just how satan and his Devils tempt us to wrong.
For those who believe the devil is given far too much credit, In one way you are right and just in case you think C.S. Lewis is giving the devil too much power I will just point out that C.S.Lewis states that he does not consider satan as opposite to God but as opposite to Michel the archangel. which as Satan is a fallen angel is a pretty fair point
Unbeknown to many, Miss Alcott wrote Many more Novels than little women, some of them continue the March Family saga but there are others too.
One of my favourites is Eight Cousins, which is a story of an invalid Orphan Girl who goes to live with her Aunts, all the eight cousins are in the same village but not the same house. and she has many adventures with them as they try to get her health back, a fun and animated tale, this book is classic Louisa with just a hint of L.M Mongomery.
4. Fanny Burney
Evelina especially, Austen fans will Find the delight of reading Pride and Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility all the more increased after reading the novels which inspired Jane Austen! Jane Austen downright copied some parts of Miss Burney's work, With names, such as Willoughby and Scenes, such as a very embarrassing ball! delightfully funny, it is a must for really devoted Austen Fans
5. Laura Ingalls Wilder
Her classic Little house series is just sweet homeliness. it fills you with the longing to lie in hot summer grass and bake, and wash, and clean! it's a series that just inspires you to want to run your own home in a similar fashion. to have simple hearty food, and the occasional, fun socials!
